Accreditation is a quality assurance process that programs undergo to confirm that they meet a strict and recognized set of service and operational standards.
Accreditation Process
The first step towards ACTEFLC Fully Accredited TEFL Course Provider status is for the institution seeking accreditation to submit a Company Statement.
The awarding of ACTEFLC Fully Accredited TEFL Course Provider status typically takes anywhere between 2 to 8 weeks.
Code Of Practice
Companies seeking initial ACTEFLC accreditation or renewal of ACTEFLC accreditation are responsible to clearly demonstrate compliance with all applicable ACTEFLC accreditation policies and criteria prior to, during and after official accreditation.
The standalone ACTEFLC logo reads Fully Accredited TEFL Course Provider.

Is ACTEFLC owned by, or affiliated with, any course provider?
No. ACTEFLC is an independent accreditation body. It is not owned or operated by any TEFL/TESL/TESOL course provider, including those it accredits.
Misinformation is increasingly common across the online TEFL/TESOL industry, and some of it has wrongly suggested a connection between ACTEFLC and a course provider. This is not correct.
ACTEFLC does not publish a list of the providers it accredits. To confirm a provider’s accreditation status, please use our Accreditation Verification page→ rather than third-party reviews or summaries.
