ACTEFLC accreditation reassures students and agents that a program is a good choice, and that the program will provide them with professional teaching, valuable qualifications and a positive learning experience.
Employers place particular importance on job applicants and employees holding a TEFL/TESL/TESOL certificate awarded by an accredited institution. Furthermore, government institutions require that foreign teachers submit an accredited TEFL/TESL/TESOL certificate when applying for work visas. ACTEFLC accreditation assessments are carried out by industry professionals and include the following criteria:​
